Privacy policy

PawGauge is built to be private by default. Our calculators are the point of the site, and they run entirely in your browser — the weights, ages, dates and body-condition scores you type are never sent to us or stored on a server. This page explains, plainly, what that means.
The calculators
Every calculator on PawGauge is client-side. Your inputs are used only to show your result on the page, and they’re gone when you close the tab. If you use the “Share result” button, your inputs are encoded into the page URL so you can send that link to a partner or vet — that link is created on your device and only shared if you choose to share it. We don’t receive a copy.
What we don’t collect
- No accounts, logins or profiles — there’s nothing to sign up for.
- No pet health records or calculator inputs are stored by us.
- We don’t sell or share personal information, because we don’t collect it.
The contact form
If you email us through the contact page, we receive the message and the email address you provide, and use them only to reply. The form is protected against spam by rate-limiting. We don’t add you to any mailing list.
Hosting & analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect against abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free measurement tool that reports aggregate traffic (like page views) without tracking individuals across sites or building a profile of you.
Advertising
We may show advertising to keep the calculators free. If and when third-party ads (such as Google AdSense) are enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Where required, you’ll be asked for consent, and you can manage ad personalisation through your Google ad settings and tools like YourAdChoices. This section will be kept current as our advertising setup changes.
Children
PawGauge is a general-audience pet-care site and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Because we don’t hold personal data about you, there’s nothing for us to export or delete on request. You can block cookies in your browser and still use every calculator. If you have a privacy question, contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here rather than notified individually, since we have no mailing list.
